Contribution: Creative Director & Head Designer

As Creative Director for Wanna Parlay, I was brought on to build a brand presence rooted in the app's core differentiator: real social competition. Unlike traditional Daily Fantasy Sports apps where users play against the house, Wanna Parlay lets players build and compete on parlays directly against each other — and the brand needed to feel that competitive, social energy from the first touchpoint. Working from the existing logo, I developed the brand's voice, tone, and communication style, along with the design systems to bring it to life consistently across the product. The voice we landed on was sports-savvy, witty, and unapologetically confident — pulling from real "locker room" trash talk that sports fans instantly recognize. Every piece of messaging was built to spark rivalry and pull users into the competitive spirit that defines the product itself. The result was a brand identity that didn't just represent the app — it embodied its differentiator, turning "playing against real people" from a feature into a feeling.

Results

Beyond building the brand's voice and identity, I led creative strategy across CRM, organic social, and paid channels — translating that sports-savvy, competitive tone into measurable growth: Boosted user engagement by 30%+ through high-performing email copy and creative built for CRM lifecycle campaigns, keeping users engaged and re-activated throughout their journey. Scaled organic social presence 25x through strategic content development and direction, growing the brand's social footprint and reinforcing its "locker room" voice at scale. Contributed to 42K+ lifetime depositors by leading the creation of UGC and AI-powered paid creatives that converted the brand's competitive energy into acquisition performance.
